  Avoid excess alcohol.
  Get enough sleep
  Avoid High Sodium foods. This is the big one. Salt causes your body to retain water. Drink enough water so that you don’t trigger an imbalance.

  First wash your face with cold water and apply cold face cream. Then use a cool eye mask for 5 to 10 minutes. Tea bags, cucumbers, ice packs, or cold tablespoons will work just as well. Always keep these handy chilling in your freezer.
  
  Using your ring finger perform a light circular massage around the area. This massage begins gently below the tear ducts and proceeds down and around the eye back to above the tear ducts.
  
  This last treatment is an old model’s trick but you must be very careful. Use preparation H, or witch hazel to draw water away from the area. Leave it on until it dries. Clean the area carefully and re-apply face cream afterwards, as your skin will be dry.

  Start with concealer on any dark circles that may accompany your puffy eyes. Make sure to use it just on the dark circles and not everywhere. Then apply your foundation afterwards as usual. Next you’ll use thin liquid eyeliner just above the eyes. Remember that if you have very puffy eyes, then thick dark eyeliner will just make it look worse. Avoid this and instead use thin liquid eyeliner and shadows which are just a little darker than your natural upper eyelid color. Use a thin layer on the upper eyelid, and also along the lower eyelid. Next apply your mascara. Finish the look with blush and light lip-gloss to give yourself a healthy glow.
